What You’ll Do:

As an Inside Sales Representative, you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships, selling existing product lines, developing new prospects, and supporting account management activities to meet sales revenue goals.

Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Engaging with customers through telephone, in-person, and electronic communications.
  • Preparing and following up on customer quotes and orders.
  • Supporting divisional managers in fulfilling quotations and processing sales orders.
  • Developing knowledge of existing product lines to offer competitive alternatives.
  • Utilizing sales management tools for planning and documenting opportunities.
  • Assisting with tenders, bids, and managing procurement information.
  • Providing inventory support based on historical customer requirements.
  • Building client relationships to increase sales and customer base.

You will work closely with the Operations Manager and other divisional managers within Pennecon Hydraulic Systems.


What We're Looking For:

We’re excited to meet candidates who have:

  • Post-secondary education in business administration or a three-year technical diploma, or a combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • Five (5) years of industry experience in sales, particularly within the marine, mining, aquaculture, oil & gas, utility, or industrial sectors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Maestro operating systems, with a good understanding of accounting IT systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with a variety of personnel.
  • The ability to manage multiple responsibilities while prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • A proactive and self-starter mindset with a focus on client satisfaction and efficiency.
  • Commitment to maintaining a professional company image.
