The Cahill-Pennecon Joint Venture is actively hiring driven and detail-oriented Quality Coordinators to join our team on the West White Rose Project, an exciting oil and gas operation featuring a unique welding hookup initially out of St. John’s, NL. As a Quality Coordinator, you will play an important role in a unique, one-of-a-kind welding operation — joining the massive Concrete Gravity Structure (CGS) to the four legs of the Topside Modules.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all requirements of Inspection and Test Plans are followed and verified
  • Verify and maintain welder qualification records
  • Monitor welding and carry out final weld visual inspection
  • Request and verify NDE completion
  • Inspect and verify material in accordance with specifications
  • Maintain traceability as required
  • Prepare final documentation for handover
  • Liaise with client and regulatory authority on project related issues
  • Assist in creating a culture of quality awareness, accountability, and continuous improvement on the project.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum CWB Level 2 Certification Required
  • W47.1/59 and ASME B31.3 endorsement
  • Experience in a similar quality role is considered an asset
  • Knowledge of ASME, CSA codes and standards considered an asset
  • Must be familiar with weld mapping, as-built drawing, closure welds and document turnover
  • Candidates must be able to pass offshore medical, BST (Basic Survival Training), and drug and alcohol screening in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Job Details:

  • Start date of June 2025, with offshore mobilization targeted for August 2025. 
  • Onshore, you will work Monday – Friday on 8-hour days, while offshore you will switch to 12-hour offshore shifts
  • Offshore Rotation: 21 days on / 7 days off (up to 28 days on / 7 days off)
  • Offshore Accommodations: Private single-bed cabin aboard the Floatel International Endurance
  • Offshore Onboard amenities include: 
    • Full meals in the main galley
    • Designated break rooms
    • Laundry services 
    • Recreation spaces: Internet Café, Cinema, and Gym
