What You’ll Do:
As an Electrical Field Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for overseeing and supporting the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems on site. Your day-to-day will involve:
- Conducting field inspections and ensuring electrical work complies with technical specifications and safety standards.
- Providing hands-on guidance to the electrical team, troubleshooting and resolving on-site issues.
- Reviewing and interpreting electrical schematics, drawings, and project documentation.
- Supporting project managers by tracking progress, managing work plans, and contributing to schedule updates.
- Documenting system installations, performing risk assessments, and enforcing safety protocols.
You’ll collaborate closely with the on-site construction and engineering teams and report directly to project leadership, helping ensure excellence in execution under challenging conditions.
What We're Looking For:
We’re excited to meet candidates who have:
- 3–5 years of experience in electrical coordination or engineering within the mining, heavy industrial, or construction sectors.
- Proven hands-on knowledge of electrical systems design, installation, and commissioning.
- Familiarity with electrical automation technologies is an asset.
- Experience working in remote or extreme environments is a strong advantage.
- Strong communication skills, critical thinking, and the ability to lead in-field coordination.
Safety Requirements:
- First Aid and Fall Protection certifications are considered assets.
- Candidates must be willing and able to work in remote northern climates under physically demanding conditions.
