We are looking for dynamic individuals who can bring enthusiasm and innovative solutions to our various projects. Pennecon Hydraulics Systems NS performs project work all across the Maritimes with a heavy focus on marine.
Role: Marine Electrician (Red Seal Industrial Electrician)
Location: Dartmouth, NS
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- General and preventive maintenance on company and client equipment and tooling;
- Preventive maintenance rebuilds and repairs on lifting equipment;
- Perform diagnostic checks on components, systems and processes;
- Participate on various client projects that will include review of equipment manuals and associated literature;
- Participate in the installation, repair and maintenance of machinery and components.
- Work together with other technicians to find solutions to more complex technical issues;
- Perform other related duties as required
Candidates should bring with them the following qualifications:
- Red Seal Electrician;
- Past experience working within the marine sector, with a particular focus on vessels;
- High levels of communication, as this role will be working directly with our clients, internal stakeholders, and potential subcontractors;
- Ability to travel around the Maritimes, with a demonstrated clear Driver’s Abstract
Candidates should have excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and computer skills to meet the needs of the role. You must be committed to safe work practices and be a team player with a positive attitude and the ability to problem solve. Maintenance Technicians should be motivated and have the ability to create a positive working environment to ensure mentoring, coaching and training of other technicians in plant maintenance activities.
