What You’ll Do:
As an Outside Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for selling existing product lines, developing new prospects, and interacting with assigned customers to increase sales and margin of PTS’ products and/or services. The primary focus is on produce and service sales related to electric motor and drive system packages, with a special emphasis on specialized products. There will be a certain degree of creativity and latitude required. You will be expected to engage with all levels of the customers’ organizations including technical, operations, supply chain and executive management. You may be required to develop and deliver bids, presentations, proposals and/or product demonstrations.
- Formulate and implement sales strategies to promote electric motors and drives, in collaboration with the Operations Manager and Director of Business Strategy and Development;
- Identify potential clients within the designated territory, build and maintain strong relationships with both existing and prospective customers for motor and drive products;
- Provide technical support and product information on motors and drives to customers as needed to facilitate sales;
- Achieve sales targets and objectives for motors and drives, driving sales performance to maximize efficiency, productivity, and response time;
- Research and introduce new motor and drive products to the team, ensuring familiarity with the products to enhance sales efforts;
- Manage sales plans and estimates for motors and drives, ensuring customer satisfaction and consistency in service delivery
- Work closely with suppliers to stay updated on motor and drive product offerings, pricing, and availability, and maintain the "Price Book" for electric motors and drives.
What We're Looking For:

- Prior sales experience in Newfoundland and/or the Atlantic provinces;
- Demonstrated track record for driving business growth, both in terms of revenue and profitability;
- Demonstrated ability to develop, write, and present effective sales and technical offerings to a wide array of customer stakeholders;
- Ability and willingness to travel to meet current and potential clients and suppliers;
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask and balance multiple deadlines;
- Effective communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
