What You’ll Do:
As a Technical Project Coordinator, you’ll be responsible to support the technical team in the development and implementation of work scopes from estimates, prepare work packs, as well as coordinate with clients to ensure logistics of materials and labour are completed as per Company and client expectations. This position will be a liaison between onsite personnel and the client, to ensure that project requirements are being met and reported on.
Your day-to-day will involve:
- Review client specifications and drawings in order to develop estimates
- Coordinate projects from quotation to turnover, meeting customer contract requirements;
- Expand business volume within targeted customer base;
- Prepare proposals, project documentation, and equipment specifications using Draft sight Software;
- Collaborate with Operations teams across all PHS locations;
- Generate monthly reports for client base, conduct take-offs, and review client specifications;
- Develop cost estimates, source materials, and work with our Procurement Department to issue purchase orders;
- Maintain quality standards during document control activities and adhere to technical design standards;
- Deliver product training and presentations to clients, participating in industry-focused events.
You’ll collaborate closely with the Engineering Team and report directly to the Engineering Lead, helping drive innovation and excellence in project development.
What We're Looking For:
We’re excited to meet candidates who have:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology;
- Proficiency in Draft sight Software (2D and 3D) and SolidWorks;
- Strong technical and project management skills, with attention to detail;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities;
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently;
- Familiarity with industry standards such as CSA and ASME preferred;
- Previous experience in a similar technical project role is an asset.
- Commitment to safe work practices and ISO 9001:2015 QA/QC processes.
